Privacy & data handling

What this website does with your information.

A plain description of the website as it works today. It will be updated before analytics or any other service is added.

This website

Simulator, form and third parties.

  • 01

    Simulator

Calculations run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to BIX or to any server.

  • 02

    Scenario carry-over

After you use the simulator, its five inputs are kept in your browser's session storage for that tab, so they can be attached to a design partner application. They are removed when you close the tab, and you can untick “Include with my application” to leave them out.

  • 03

    Forms

There are two forms: a request for a 20-minute conversation (name, company, email, optional message) and the design partner application (name, company, email, role, plus two optional fields). Neither asks for financial datasets, customer data or invoice details — please don't include them. When you submit a form, the details you enter — and your simulator scenario, if you choose to include it — are sent to Netlify Forms, a service of our hosting provider Netlify, Inc., and stored there so we can respond. Netlify may process this data outside the European Union; the applicable safeguards will be described here after legal review. Assessment data is never exchanged through this website; see how assessment data would be handled.

    Cookies & analytics

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

  • 05

    Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) to operate and secure the site.

    Who is responsible

  • 02

    What we receive

Conversation requests: name, company, email address and an optional message. Design partner applications: name, company, email address and role, plus optional credit-sales or invoice-volume figure and collections challenge. In both cases, your simulator assumptions only if you choose to include them.

  • 03

    Why

  • 04

    How long

A retention period for applications and requests has not yet been set; it will be stated here.

  • 05
